OK, ONE THING: I was pretty bad this show about record speeds. Usually I cue records beforehand, but with the UPTOWN CREW around it was hard to remember. Don’t get too exasperated - the rest of the show is good, I promise!
ALL RIGHT THEN: this one was a fun one. UPC showed up en masse and we played (and gave away!) new EAT THE LIFE stuff. Highlights include Max’s MYSTIC RECORDS sampler, punk on iTunes chat (I said we’re the punk CNBC - no one laughed…), and general raising hell. Hopefully, we’ll do it again sometime. Dig it!
Oh yeah, here’s that ZERO BOYS line.

A somewhat triumphant return to the airwaves and your eardrums, complete with computer voice gimmicks and some sick new stuff that came out this summer. Enjoy!

The main message of this show: DRY-ROT is great. The rest of the show is all right too.

An exceptionally messy rocklog signifies an exceptionally fun show, featuring OG Boston stuff from the WHPK library and “Sex Sux” by the Vaselines (not punk; whatever, nerds). Enjoy!

This show features some reviews of new records in the station library, guest starring Rachel (“the punker one”). It was pretty fun! The rest of it was fun too, as usual. Dig it!

This is the second of two tape-only (mostly) shows. I played a MINOR THREAT record since in celebration of Ian Mackaye’s 50th (I guess the dude deserves the MRR stylebook treatment as well, so make that IAN MACKAYE). Too bad the LUNAR MIASMA at the end got cut off - the next DJ is not the most considerate person. Enjoy regardless!

This show is the first of two that is all stuff off cassette tapes. Ever since my tape deck broke while dubbing the CLOSED WORLD mix and I neglected to get it fixed or get a new one, I’ve only been able to listen to my tapes in the studio - this is the result. Also, if you don’t think “Cherry Beach” by CAREER SUICIDE is the best song, you’re wrong.

The clear highlight of this show is the highly entertaining music director/angry nerd review battle over whether a POISON IDEA 7” is any good. The rest is all right too. Enjoy!

This one was the first after a brief hiatus, and you even get a bonus hour. The log includes Janice’s metacomment near the top. Dig it!

The recording is a little loud on this one - oh well.

“Screaming at a Wall”  – only live stuff
A fun show last week! Highlights included OLHO SECO, the whole CRAZY SPIRIT set, and LIFE SENTENCE from back in 1984. Oh yeah – can’t forget the CHEETAH CHROME MOTHERFUCKERS song there near the end. Hope you dig it!
